By paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following policies for your private workshop or team-building event at Studio 614.
Booking & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your private workshop date and time. Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Your deposit reserves your private workshop, instructor time, studio availability, and event preparation. Once your event is booked, that date and time are removed from our calendar and are no longer available for other bookings.
Deposits are non-refundable except if Studio 614 must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control that make the workshop impossible to host, such as severe weather or another Act of God.
Final Guest Count
Your final guaranteed guest count must be provided at least 48 hours before your scheduled workshop. This number is used to prepare supplies, reserve seating, and schedule instructors.
The event organizer is financially responsible for the guaranteed guest count submitted 48 hours before the event, regardless of actual attendance. If additional guests attend and space and supplies allow, they will be added to the final invoice.
Payment
Your final invoice will be based on whichever is greater:
The guaranteed guest count provided at least 48 hours before your workshop; or
The actual number of participants if more guests attend than originally confirmed.
For non-corporate private workshops, Studio 614 reserves the right to require payment at the conclusion of the event or prior to the workshop. The remaining balance is due within 30 days after your workshop, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to reasonable collection efforts and any applicable collection costs permitted by law.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule your workshop, please notify Studio 614 as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to Studio 614's availability. If your group fails to attend the scheduled workshop without prior communication, the event will be considered a no-show.
Because Studio 614 has reserved your workshop time exclusively for your group, scheduled instructors, and prepared supplies based on your confirmed guest count, no-show groups remain financially responsible for the guaranteed guest count submitted 48 hours before the event, in addition to forfeiting their deposit.
If you are running late, please contact Studio 614 as soon as possible. We understand delays happen and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your group when our schedule allows. However, late arrivals do not extend the scheduled workshop time.
Studio Care
Please help us keep Studio 614 clean and welcoming.
The event organizer is responsible for any damage caused by members of their group. Any repair, replacement, or extraordinary cleaning costs resulting from damage beyond normal use may be invoiced following the event.
Nothing may be nailed, screwed, stapled, or permanently affixed to walls, fixtures, floors, windows, or doors. Painter's tape or masking tape may be used for temporary decorations only.
Workshop Timing
Workshops begin and end at the scheduled times. Additional workshop time cannot be guaranteed unless approved in advance. Groups remaining more than 30 minutes beyond their scheduled end time may be charged for an additional hour.
Children
Children attending private workshops must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times unless the workshop is specifically designed as a children's event.
Smoking & Fire Safety
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the studio. Smoking outdoors is permitted only in designated areas, and cigarette waste must be disposed of properly. No fireworks, sparklers, gas grills, or other open flames are permitted on the Studio 614 property unless they are part of a Studio 614 workshop.
Firearms & Safety
Firearms and weapons of any kind are prohibited on Studio 614 property except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Music & Respect for Our Neighbors
To respect our residential neighbors: No amplified music is permitted outdoors. Music played inside the studio should remain at a respectful volume. Exterior doors and windows should remain closed while amplified music is playing, or while heating or air conditioning is in use.
Parking
Free parking is available in the rear parking lot and on surrounding public streets. Please be respectful of neighboring businesses and residences when parking.
Food & Alcohol
Outside food and beverages are welcome unless otherwise noted for your event. If alcohol is served, the event organizer is solely responsible for ensuring that all guests consuming alcohol are of legal drinking age and that alcohol is consumed responsibly.
Studio 614 does not provide alcohol and assumes no responsibility for alcohol-related injuries, accidents, damages, or violations of law.
The sale of alcohol or food on the premises is prohibited without prior written approval.
Vendors
If your event includes outside vendors, caterers, photographers, entertainers, or decorators, you are responsible for ensuring they comply with these policies and any scheduled setup or cleanup times.
Cleanup
Please help leave the studio in the same condition you found it. Dispose of all trash in the designated receptacles before leaving, and do not leave litter outside the building.
Lost & Found
Items left behind will be held for up to seven (7) days before being donated or discarded. Studio 614 is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Event Conduct
Studio 614 reserves the right to end any workshop or remove participants whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, destructive, illegal, or abusive toward staff or other guests. If a workshop is ended due to participant behavior, no refunds will be issued.
Assumption of Risk & Agreement
By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these policies. You agree to assume responsibility for yourself and your guests during the event and to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Studio 614, its owners, employees, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, or attorney fees arising out of your workshop or your group's use of the premises, except to the extent caused by Studio 614's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
